Frequently Asked Questions

How early do I need to schedule my move?

You should schedule your move as early as possible to avoid points of peak activity where bookings might be hard to arrange easily. Contact us to discuss your needs and our current availability.

How can I save money?

Moving in off-periods is a good way to save money; ideally in the middle of the month. Be sure to organize your move ahead of time and to provide as many details as possible. Will you require packing/unpacking services? Will we be dismantling beds, tables, etc? Do you have any especially heavy pieces of furniture (ex. Piano)? Anything that you pack yourself should be packed well, stacked, and conveniently located.

How do you protect my furniture and carpets when it rains?

We have a number of options available to us such as moving blankets or even shrink wrap.

How do I know how many men I will need for a move?

Our knowledgeable staff will be able to help you assess the requirements of your move based on the size of your home and the nature/weight of your belongings.

Do I need an estimate?

An estimate ensures that your move will be timely and cost effective. An estimate includes a general walkthrough of your belongings, an analysis of your needs in terms of labour and truck size, and a much more accurate guideline of the possible cost involved.
